Dr. Joseph Aldrin

Dr. Joseph Aldrin Raised in Tuticorin, a port town in Tamil Nadu, India, with a loving family of three and spiritual parents in ministry. Dr. Joseph Aldrin never imagined that he would minister for the Lord. As a young man, his training and interests were in singing and music. His father, Dr. Suresh is a homeopathic doctor. Joseph Aldrin also acquired his under graduation in homeopathic medicine and post-graduation in the field of Practice of Medicine. Though his family always encouraged him to grow in the Lord, with his mother Mary Star all the time on her knees, he would politely decline his call until 14th January 2010 when the Lord called him and anointed him for his ministry. Longing to listen to the good news, he ran around everywhere, but all that he could listen to was about a furious angry God, which made him feel hopeless. Thirsty young Joseph Aldrin sought to know more about the Saviour, finally landed up listening to obscure sermons that just made him feel desperate. Being depressed one day after attending a seminar, he developed so many questions within him. "If Christianity is self-salvation, then why did Jesus Christ come down to earth? If a man by himself can overcome sin, why does he need a saviour?" He longed for an answer to this question until the Lord revealed the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to him and enlightened his eyes, which brought back hope in him through the scriptures: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” - (John 3:16) “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus” - (Romans 3: 22- 24) “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” -(2 Corinthians 5:21) “Who (Jesus) was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” -(Romans 4:25) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” -(Ephesians 2:8) This revelation turned his attention to giving hope to the youngsters preaching about the good God who longs to forgive, love and bless. Later, being encouraged and guided by his spiritual father, Fr. S. J Berchmans, he grew up to be a worship leader and a Bible teacher. The Lord started using Dr. Joseph Aldrin to minister in Jebathottam. Gradually, Dr. Joseph Aldrin also began to move around evangelizing and preaching about the good God, who is after humanity to save, heal and bless. Presently he also pastors a church in his hometown named Catholic Friends Prayer Fellowship which was the first church pioneered Fr. S.J Berchmans in Thoothukudi.
